The luxury hemp, silk and cotton materials used are certified organic and all fastenings and clasps are found in re-possessed garments or made from recycled materials (recycled plastics). Prior to starting her line, Julia graduated with degrees in both Biology and Fashion Design (Parsons, New York & Central Saint Martins, London) and has worked at Michael Kors and The Limited Brands. After a recent position with a textile environmental design group in London, her passions lie in exploring and promoting sustainable change within the fashion and textile industry through her I Love Eco blog (www.iloveeco.com). Julia also works as a consultant and stylist for The Green Stylist (www.thegreenstylist.com), a consulting firm dedicated to the implementation of ecological design principles for independent designers and corporate design firms.
